Midnight

$0.99

Midnight is an acoustic melody from musician/filmmaker Marc Hampson about two lovers whose journey has run its course and have decided to set aside their sadness for one final evening as it “was” before midnight sets on their time together.

Featured in the film Hello & Goodbye (2018) from Brotherhood Pictures. Written & Performed by Director Marc Hampson. Produced by Marc Hampson and Ronnie Ursenbach and Engineered by Ronnie Ursenbach as well.

The song was originally recoded on set into a small hand recorder for the actors to learn without a click track and when played back was accidentally captured into footage that made into the scenes. Because of these issues (mainly bad planning) the final recoding had to be done over the top and integrated into the demo created on set fo timing purposes which create both a slightly sloppy but also organic feeling that has made the song unique and (to date) successful with audiences.
