Four friends have recently started a new band together. They have been playing for months and anticipating their first upcoming show. The show is only two days away and the boys need to rehearse, but what is New Years without a giant New Years party. They have lots of friends along with friends of friends over and party all night. The next morning they drag themselves out of bed, for one last day rehearsal but can’t seem to bring themselves to actually get in the band room and play. Events from the night before slowly reveal themselves as fights break out and laughs are had.

Current Status:

To date, we have shown a very rough cut around a few times and have consistently received very extremely positive feedback. “The Kings of Mexico” has bee shot, edited, color corrected, re-edited and we we’re down to sound. Ronnie Ursenbach and Marc Hampson are working on the film’s extensive ADR requirements with the actors while Tom Stillwagon and Eduardo Garcia are hard at work doing great things with the film’s foley tracks. After that it will be down to the final sound mix and the film will finally see the light of day.
